Pearl Farm
Hong Kong is a peninsula with a rich marine resource. The Taipo Sea is not just renowned for being the ancient pearl hunting site named Meichuan capital, but also the major pearl farming site. Yet, the development of the Plover Cove Reservoir in 1960s drastically changed the local environment. Now, as we revisit this place, we hope to revive the pearl industry, inherit the ancient story of Pearl of the Orient, and let this legacy be passed on to our next generation.
We are utilizing the local aquacultural resources, collaborating with the raft owners, and striving for the revival of the Hong Kong aquacultural industry.
